Canada River Levels does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. That is why there is no consent banner: we only use what is strictly necessary or what you choose yourself.
What we use

Local storage never leaves your browser: our server cannot read it.
Why we do not ask for consent
Under EU and UK rules (and Spain's LSSI, art. 22.2), cookies that are strictly necessary for security or that store a preference you chose are exempt from consent. If we ever add other cookies, we will ask first.
Third parties
The map library (cdnjs) and map images (OpenStreetMap) are loaded by your browser but do not set cookies through Canada River Levels. More in the privacy policy.
How to delete them
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" → "Clear browsing data" or "Site data"). The site keeps working; you only lose your theme choice.
